In January 1993, a small software company called FutureWave Software was born! They created their first product called SmartSketch which is an application that makes drawing on the computer as easy as drawing on paper. Soon after the Internet began to become more popular, FutureWave realized that they can used SmartSketch to make the web sites better. So they modified SmartSketch by adding frame-by-frame animation features in 1995 and re-released it as FutureSplash Animator. Later the product was offered to Adobe and they modified it released it as Flash from "Future" and "Splash". Flash is currently being used for adding animation, advertisements, and videos into web pages. So far in Flash I have learned how to move objects around, change the shape of an object, make an image fade, and add sound to the animations. You can see all my works in Flash so far by clicking on the links above.
