Winter Vacation
For the winter, my mom suggested for us to go back to Taiwan to visit our family. Of course during the trip, I did some major shopping and site seeing.
Places I went over the winter
Taipei is the capital of Taiwan, and its where every major sites are! Some places I went is the zoo, museums, the beach, and especially the famous 101 tower. The most famous museum is the National Palace Museum where its ranked one of the four best meusems in the world. The meusem is like a whole city of history where each step takes you a little closer to understanding Taiwan. Then I went to the beach. The beach isn't one of the best but to me its very amazing. At first I thought there was ice cubes in the water. I thought why is there ice cubes in the water? Then I poked one of the icecubes and it was....squishy! It was a jelly fish, and they are everywhere. Even though they kind of stings, they were really pretty to look at. Later I even took some home(a.k.a. where they die of dehydration) to hopefully keep as a souvernere.
But the best part is the 101 tower. It was beatiful inside and out! Sometimes when you walk around it you might see lights coming from the tower that forms words like, Would you marry me. I thought who ever is getting married is so lucky. When you go inside, there are actually 101 levels in the building and the tower is actually the second tallest in the world so far. Inside includes all kinds of stores. There's the Haagen-Dazs ice cream shop where my brother, my aunt, my little cousin, and I went to get the biggest ice cream cone with 2 scoops. Even though the price was high, it was worth it. Then we walked around and saw some clothing shops, book stores, and toy stores. Finally we arrived at the Elevator. This Elevator is not like the normal once in the tower though. This elevator can bring you to the tip top where no others can even reach the 89th floor. As we step into the elevator the assistance there told us that the elevator is the fastest. And it was true too. as soon as he finish speaking, the elevator stopped soundlessly and open the door at the 89th floor, our stop. We stepped out into an amazing sight. We could see everything from Taipei to Keelung, another city nearby. And all the cars were about the size of an ant. Our cousin was getting tired though, so we went back down to go home. My experience at 101 tower was really fun.
